Describe the transformation of Adam and Eve that occurred when they ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. What was different about them after they ate of the tree?
In verse 8 of Genesis Chapter 3, God is said to be walking in the garden. This is an example of personification where human traits are attributed to God. We know that God is Spirit (John 4:24).
Analyze Adam’s answer to God’s questions "Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?"
If you could sum up the fall of man in one word, what would the word be?
Read Genesis Chapter 4
What might Eve have meant when she said in verse one of Genesis Chapter 4: “With the help of the LORD I have brought forth a man."?
Why did the Lord reject the offering of Cain and accept the offering of Abel?
Cain was counseled by God to “do what is right” or he would become a servant to sin. What prevented him from listening to God? What did God mean when He said “do what is right”? Why was it wrong for Cain to become and stay so angry?
What is the irony of Cain’s response to God’s punishment? How is God’s grace manifested towards Cain?

Read Genesis Chapter 5
In verse 1 of Genesis Chapter 5 we see the language “the written account”. What does or could this imply?

What is the difference between Adam being made in the likeness of God (see Genesis Chapter 5 verse 1; Genesis Chapter 1 verse 26) and Seth being made in the image of Adam (see Genesis Chapter 5 verse 3)?

Read Genesis Chapter 6
Why would the term “sons of God” from Genesis Chapter 6, verse 2 seem out of place when used in the context of the passage if God made Adam in his own image and likeness (see Genesis Chapter 1, verses 26-7) and Adam had a son in his own likeness, in his own image (see Genesis Chapter 5, verse 3)?
In the context of this passage from the first four verses of Genesis Chapter 6 and the passages before it, who do you think the daughters of men were?
List 2 examples of mankind’s evil that caused God to be upset as provided in Genesis Chapter
It seems that the two areas of sin that were prevalent in the days before the flood were sex (i.e. a degradation of marriage) and violence. How do we see the same problems in the world today? Give some examples. What does this say about mankind?

In verse 7 it says that the raven Noah sent out “kept flying back and forth until the water had dried up from the earth.” What was the raven flying back and forth to and from?
Why did Noah send out a dove? How many times did Noah send out a dove? What was the result of each event?
